FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS A VINTUITION WORKSHOP?

Vintuition is a 4-7 hour workshop designed to specifically address the training needs of people who work in cellar door. Each workshop is held within the wine region and is open to any staff from any winery from that, or neighbouring regions. The fee covers all all materials, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, in addition to the wines tasted in the masterclass modules. Attendees must be 18 years or older to participate.

WHO IS IT DESIGNED FOR?

The workshops are designed specifically for people who work in cellar door, with the content limited to maximising the potential of customers who walk through the door. It does not address more strategic concerns such as the branding & marketing of cellar doors, tourism visibility, business strategy or positioning.

WHERE WILL IT BE HELD?

Each workshop is held within a major wine region. We aim to use central venues which provide comfort, great lighting, good food and good atmosphere. Conference centres, private dining rooms & function spaces are all ideal. If you can recommend somewhere please get in touch!

WILL MY TOURISM BOARD SUBSIDISE TICKETS?

It is in the best interest of your local tourism organisation to subsidise the ticket price as this assists the wineries greatly to participate, and even means more people can attend. Upon securing the date for a particular region, the team at Vintuition will be in touch directly with the tourism board to explore subsidy options. The wineries will be notified if & when funding becomes available.

WHEN WILL IT BE HELD IN MY REGION?

Vintuition aims to host workshops in all major wine regions at least once per year, ideally twice in large regions. You'll be notified well in advance once a date is secured in your region.

IS IT ACTUALLY INNOVATIVE?

We think so! There's no equivalent program in Australia currently that has been custom built for the cellar door industry. There are plenty of hospitality training providers out there doing great work but they only address specific parts of the job.
